Abstract

Introduction: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is one of te strategies to improve the quality of health services. In Indonesia, all health care facilities are required to implement EMR. To obtain long term benefits from the EMR system, clinics need to maintain long term user engagement. Because the success of implementing a health information system is human, organization and technology. Research Objective: To determine the implementation of Electronic Medical Records at the Kebalen Medika Clinic Bekasi. Research Method: This research is a qualitative research. The research informant is the manager of the Kebalen Medika Clinic, Bekasi. The data collection methods used in dept interviews. Research questions include the purpose of implementing EMR, the EMR system used, the benefits of implementing EMR, the obstacles faced, efforts to overcome obstacles and data quality assurance. The analysis was carried out with an in depth discussion of the contents of the information obtained. Research Results: The EMR system used at the Kebalen Medika Clinic, Bekasi is called Eshan. The implementation of EMR has the benefits of easy tracking of patient data and data security. The Obstacles faced were power outages, unstable internet networks and staff who were not familiar with EMR. To maintain data quality, internal audits have been conducted every few months. Conclusions: RME provides benefits to clinics even though there are still obstacles to face.
